Date Calculator
Add or subtract days, weeks, months and years from a date and see the weekday.
How the date calculator works
The calculator first adds or subtracts the years and months, then the weeks and days. If the new month is shorter than the start day, it uses the last day of that month, so January 31 plus one month is February 28 (or 29 in a leap year). It also shows the day of the week of the result.
Worked examples
- March 15, 2027 + 90 days: Sunday, June 13, 2027.
- January 31, 2027 + 1 month: Sunday, February 28, 2027.
- March 15, 2027 + 2 weeks and 3 days: Thursday, April 1, 2027.
- March 15, 2027 − 1 year and 2 months: Thursday, January 15, 2026.
Frequently asked questions
What day of the week was or will be a date?
Enter the date and leave all the amounts at 0. The result shows that date together with its day of the week.
How do I find the number of days between two dates?
Use the date difference calculator, which counts the days, weeks, months and years between two dates.
How are leap years handled?
Leap years are included automatically. For example, adding one year to February 29, 2028 gives February 28, 2029.
Does this skip weekends or holidays?
No. It counts every calendar day. For working days, subtract weekends and any public holidays yourself.
